Manicure Mondays : Rock Star Glitter

Hello 🙂

This week I needed a nail look that would last- so I went straight for the glitter polishes! Although they aren’t the easiest formulas to remove; they certainly do stay put for a good few days..

I’ve had this Barry M glitter for over a year when I believe it was part of a aquatic collection maybe? But where ever it’s from, I just LOVE this colour combo! I don’t think it’s strictly a ‘holographic’ pigment, but it is stunning- the picture do not do it justice!

As always I hope you enjoy this quick nail look for the week, do leave any blog or Instagrams for me to follow below! 🙂

 – Manicure Mondays : Rock Star Glitter –

Starting off with my Nail Prep routine!

For the base colour I used to coats of Barry M Gelly ‘Black Forest’, I think either a deep navy of green would look fab with the glitter shades.

After the base layer is dry, apply a generous layer of the Barry M Glitterati in ‘Rockstar’ – since google’ing I don’t think this a part of their core range now, but you can find it on amazon- also I now I really want the current ‘glitterati’ polishes..

Allow all to dry slightly before finally, adding a topcoat to seal everything in, allow all to dry fully!

And I can report this did last a good 4 days! Ok yes, with a few minor chips but I am always opening boxes and moving things around- it also wasn’t even that bad to remove! I really love this colour combo, one I shall be revising for sure- hopefully with some different base colours to bring out the glitter more.

As always, let me know your thoughts on this nail look, plus links you any blogs or instagrams below!

Thank You So Much For Reading 🙂
