Manicure Mondays : Triangular Tendencies

Hello 🙂

This manicure took up far too much of my day haha! A combination of Instagram inspiration gave me this nail look for today’s post- one which is a tad fiddly with minor faults when looking close up..

But any who, I’ve never claimed to be an expert at all this! I hope you enjoy this more adventurous Manicure Monday- do leave links to your own posts below 🙂

Starting off with my Nail Prep routine!

Now, this look will take some time!

Start but cutting a lot of nail tape and placing on an edge of some sort- I use my laptop! Begin to form two triangle shapes on each nail, using tweezers is the easiest way I found. Form the shapes in whatever shape, size or direction your want!

To apply to polish within the spaces, is much easier with a dotting tool- more time consuming but much more precise! As always just place a bit of each polish onto a surface and work colour by colour.

Colours Used : Barry M Gelly ‘Cotton’   /   Barry M Gelly ‘Chai’   /   Maybelline Color Show ‘Blackout’   /    Barry M Gelly ‘Greenberry’

Once all colours have been applied gently peel of tape with tweezers and clean up any excess. Give the polish a good half an hour to dry naturally before adding a topcoat to avoid smearing!

Not the quickest manicure in the world but one which is a bit different; colours can be changed super easy or could just do one for an accent nail!?

As always, let me know your thoughts on this nail look, plus links you any blogs or instagrams below!

Thank You So Much For Reading 🙂
