Manicure Mondays : Brush Swept

Hello 🙂

These super simple nail looks are my favourite thing at the moment! A simple sweep to give a funky nail look. The initial plan for this look was white stripes, but my hand just isn’t steady enough haha! But any who, I really like this nail look and the colours, even though the base is black it ended up looking almost navy. I hope you all like this look, and again do leave links to your own nail blogs or instagrams below!

Starting off with my Nail Prep routine!

Paint nails in 1-2 coats of black polish, I used Maybelline Color Show in ‘Blackout’, allow to dry fully.

Prepare a surface for polish and some white varnish, I used Barry M Gelly ‘Cotton’. Using a small strand brush dip, taking off excess, and swipe 2-3 times on each nail. You can alter the look however you want at the point!

Once all nails are done allow everything to dry alone for 10 mins before applying a topcoat to seal in the look.

Allow nails to fully dry and we’re finished!

This is such a quick and effective nail look, which can be done is loads of colour combinations!

As always, let me know your thoughts on this nail look, plus links you any blogs or instagrams below!

Thank You So Much For Reading 🙂

  1. I love today’s nail look. It looks like you can wear it for many occasions. I’d dare say, you could pull it off for a job interview. The simplicity is also nice. Do you use base coat?
