Manicure Mondays : Oh Christmas Tree’

Hello 🙂

~ Blog-ember ~

Welcome to the first of a few festive manicure posts, much like my previous Halloween ones! Technically I am cheating by starting Blog-ember by starting on the 30th..

But any who- let’s get into the first of the festive manicures with

Oh Christmas Tree!

Every year I see these designs online and never had I tried it! A very simple and quick nail look to do with only two polishes- I hope you enjoy reading 🙂

Step One:

Start by prepping and shaping the nails as desired, apply a brush of white vinegar (to remove excess oils) and add a top coat- allow to dry.

Step Two:

Taking some masking or medical tape cut thick strips, place on the nail to make a ‘V’ shape pointing up the nail.

Step Three:

Using a dark green polish (I used Barry M Gelly ‘Black Pistachio’) colour in the triangle shape, one coast should be enough. Allow to dry.

Step Four:

Once the dark green is dry, apply 1-2 coats of a festive glitter (I used Barry M Glitter ‘Christmas Tree’) but avoiding the stars in the polish!

Step Five:

Finally, carefully take the stars from the polish using a small dotting tool and place one on the top of each tree. Once everything is dry apply a top coat to seal in your design!

And there you have some funky mini Christmas Trees on your nails! Even just doing one of these as an accent nail and the rest the dark green. I hope you have enjoyed the first of the festive manicure here on my blog- leave me links if you are doing these posts too!

Thank You So Much For Reading 🙂
