Sorry I haven’t posted in a few days- been worn out with work! But back to the normal blog posts today!
Back with the foodie posts; I found these recipe the other week online, tried it and it was AMAZING. I’ve made a few tweaks and additions and ended up with this recipe. It’s quick to make and is great hot or cold. Plus it have have whatever you want it it: with just the cheese sauce alone or with sweetcorn, mushroom..the choice is endless! I really hope you like the recipe and give it ago!
You Will Need:
2 x large broccoli
1 1/2 cup whole milk
325g spreadable mature cheese
5-6 slices of bacon, cooked and chopped
4 chicken breast, cooked and chopped
1 pack of grated cheese
*I cook the bacon & chicken before starting and leave if in the top oven to keep warm*
1 – Pre-heat oven to 160’C
2 – To Make Sauce: Add the milk to a large pan on a medium heat, whisk in the soft cheese and half of the grated. Continue to stir until mixture thickens. Once to a thick sauce consistency leave on a low heat.
3 – Boil/Steam the broccoli (I like to leave it al dente)
4 – Cook the pasta to packet guidelines
5 – In a large oven dish add the pasta, broccoli, chicken and bacon and combine. Pour over the sauce and ensure everything is mixed.
6 – Sprinkle the rest of the grated cheese over the top and back for 15 mins!
7 – Serve & Enjoy!
